i do not feel well today..

with the help of painkiller (my bestfriend for soo many years!), it somehow ease the ache that i am suffering from for almost every month. though i feel weak physically, duty calls, reports need to be submitted.

Miracle 1

she is so fragile.. my college friend gave birth to a 2 lbs baby girl. on that day, she never expected that she will give birth already. after her regular check-up at st lukes hospital, the doctor asked for her OB's mobile number. "kailangan mo ng manganak ngayon. hindi na nag-wowork yung ibang system mo that give nourishment to the baby. if hindi pa mailabas today, there is a possibility na mamatay ung baby sa loob."

but she is only 8 months old..

it was holy week. her OB will be on an out of the country holiday and her flight is scheduled on that same day. God is good! her OB is still in manila! she immediately went to st lukes hospital (all the way from marikina) after she received the call.

we prayed.. believing that God is in control.

she's indeed a miracle baby. they named her Asaph (God accummulated) Elisha (God is my salvation).



asaph turned one on march 19, 2009..my inaanak is a testament of God's goodness and faithfulness in us. here are some pictures of elisha which i got from her mommy (she is such an adorable little girl). we love you, asaph elisha!!






Miracle 2

she is taking "halamang gamot" for a week. she already have two boys and doesn't want to have another one..but then, she realized that what she is doing is not right and not pleasing to God.

she prayed, "lord, patawarin mo po ako. please make her normal. sana walang side effect ung mga gamot na ininom ko. kahit na po kamuka sya ng tatay nya basta po normal." (i love the last part hehe)

on november 25, she gave birth to her third child. the baby is normal..and lovely :-)

she kept the story to herself. but not until her only daughter's 18th birthday..to make the long story short, by God's grace, the daughter released forgiveness to her mom.

God heard the mother's prayer...even the last part! kamuka nga ng tatay nya :D

Ma, mahal na mahal kita..maraming salamat!

"lord, thank you for asaph's life. thank you for my life. there is a reason why we are here today. may your good purpose be fulfilled in our lives. and may our lives be a reflection of you. be glorified. amen."

Meet the (foster) parents

finally..we had a wonderful and fun dinner with the diolazo's. while watching vhong navarro's supahpapalicious, ate ems cheerfully tell the story about their snowy mountain vacation with cesar. "ang panget panget mo!" haha!! you are so funny, ate ems :-)

we had pizza and chicken for dinner and shared together for dessert the ref cake that i made. and they liked it! yipee!

kuya jun and ate ems took us a ride back home. we passed by to a near park where, according to ate ems, is a very romantic place to spend a date. "o di ba, romantic dito!" *wink*

Bliss

tuesday is movie time! after watching bruce willis' surrogates, we stroll around the city and have our photos taken at the opera house and harbour bridge. then we rode on a ferry back home. we sat infront of the ferry to see the beauty of the night. we crossed under the harbour bridge..what a lovely sight..i can't believe that it's actually happening. cruisin' together with the man i have prayed for to God for long years.

met with rose and valen last friday..pitong taon na pala ang nakakaraan.. i remember valen. na-frustrate sya kasi top 13 lang daw sya sa cpa board exams. ang expectation kasi from him ng mga reviewers is to be on the top 5, as he's the consistent topnotcher sa pre-board. aatend sya ng review class, calculator at pen lang ang bitbit. he took practical accounting 2 for only an hour. paglabas ng result, isa lang mali nya. aawww!! henyo!! kainis! hehe :-) lagi sya bumibisita sa review school, hinihintay ako tapos ihahatid sa bahay. he invited me to be his special guest sa testimonial dinner...well, those were the days. may kanya kanya na kaming buhay ngayon. he's now a director at sgv..i'm happy for him. sya pa rin ung valen na nakilala ko noon..

yipee!! and today sinigang na baboy naman. salamat ma for the tips on cooking sinigang! and yeah, sana meron gabi sa aussie :-) i enjoyed the cooking bonding with mama dear.

My first adobo

per his request, nagpaturo ako kay mama magluto ng adobo..wohoo!! today, i cooked my ever first adobo. i am very thankful to my mama, who is for me the best cook and mom in the whole wide universe (love you!). you will be proud of your unica hija :-)
