surprise #1: chrissy gift from ayan (my teammate). she got the idea when we were looking for any starbucks item for the team's exchange christmas gift. i so liked this one and repeatedly told her and myself that christmas won't pass without buying this mug. before the holiday break, niyaya nya ko sa greenbelt 5. yun pala, we are going to claim her gift. she reserved one christmas mug for me as this is already sold-out sa ibang stores. that was so sweet, hetty! maraming salamat!! i am using this mug at home kahit na hindi christmas season :-)
surprise #2: last february, mommy jude went to my workstation and she handed me a mug wrapped in brown starbucks wrapper. it was a bacolod city mug!! wohoo!! she said that this is her long overdue birthday and christmas gift. na-touch ako..thanks for remembering, sis!!
fact: my first domestic flight was in bacolod to compete for the National Secondary Schools Press Conference (NSSPC). 4th year highschool -- i joined the regional press conference and won 3rd place in the photojournalism category. if my memory serves me right, we were around 50 delegates from the different schools in metro manila to represent NCR in the NSSPC.
surprise #3: my boss, edwin, went to pakistan last two weeks ago for a business trip. they had a stop over in dubai and he had a funny story upon looking for this mug at the airport -- language barrier :-) honestly, i was not expecting this because i thought (as per becky) that he was not able to buy a city mug. maraming salamat, boss!! sa uulitin :-)
