Global

the streamline concept of the company enables the center to operate globally. GSAP (global SAP) was introduced to support the 'one finance' system. and i was given the opportunity to be part of the team who oversees and supports every country that is to be migrated to the new system, as well as the countries that are already operating using GSAP, particularly in the accounts payable process.

since i moved to accounts payable, aside from sox, gsap became part of my everyday life in the office. i thought i will no longer graduate in cleaning up the grir and vendor legacy items for the US lubes accounts. until i have joined the team and totally focus on the gsap processes.

from june to september, i assisted the gsap ph (philippines) in the processing of the cutover invoices as well as (again) the clean up of the legacy grir items. quite new to me as i don't process an invoice before. with this, i appreciate more the AP end to end process. from the receiving of the invoices, to scanning, to posting, until the invoice gets paid. thanks to V and G! for your diligence and patiece! hindi ako nahirapan mag-explain ng mga status during meetings with the big boss. kudos to the excellent job!! project gsap ph completed :-)

then there comes the gsap south africa. my role as workflow administrator is enhanced during this time. later that i was informed, this will not actually the country that i will handle. my extended assistance for SA is only until the end of november so that starting december i can focus on the countries that i will oversee.

training is on going for the ACH / Benelux accounts: austria, switzerland, belgium, netherlands and luxemberg. i am so interested how the RDS operates to the other parts of the globe.

and that's it!! 8 countries in 2009! thank you gsap for making my job fulfilling and fruitful this year. cheers to the streamline project!!

"always remind me that i am working and not toiling. you love it when i work. this is my act of worship to you. i will excel in this field for your glory. always bless the work of my hands so that i can also be a blessing to my family. amen"
