What is your 5%?

today, i've learned about the 5% principle. i came up with an idea after hearing this that i will start listing down my faith goals for 2010 considering my 5%.

85% of what you can do for yourself, others can do it for you.

10% of what you can do for yourself, others with enough training can do it for you.

5% of what you can do, only yourself can do it for you.

here's what i have now in my 5% (may add some more):
- spiritual health. i could ask someone to pray for me, or read the bible for me. but these do not bring me closer to god. it's his or her growth, not mine. through prayer and reading his word, i draw nearer to him, all the more that i know about him, his plans, his desires. no one is responsible for my growth except me.
- physical health. (i'm guilty! needs improvement on this portion) cesar is one person who i know goes to the gym religiously. asking him to do another 30 minutes on the treadmill will not have any cause to my health. need to do it myself. in 2010, i am considering to go to the gym (this will be a breakthrough for me as this is the least that i will do in my whole life! i would rather join any physical activity like dancing, but not going to the gym!)
- honor my father and mother. children are the parent's source of pride, nobody else.
- gf to him. of course! i cannot and will never (ever!) delegate this to anybody.

if i do excel and get right with my 5%, the other 95% follows.
question is, how much time do i spend with my 5%? do i waste the 24 hours much to the 95%?

"it is only by your grace that i can do these things. may i be a pleasing sacrifice to you. everything will work well if i do great with my 5%. lord, help me. for the highest praise of your name. amen."
