Happy bday Senior and Junior!

june 30 was declared as philippine holiday due to the inauguration of noy-bi. for the carino's (i am in!) this is a perfect timing to celebrate papa cesar's 92nd (but according to him it was his 102nd hehe) and papa boyet's 58th birthday. though i have work at 3pm, i decided to visit pasig at lunch time kahit sandali lang. i would like to see papa cesar's shrewd endearing smile. before i meet mama (lina) in marikina, sumaglit ako ng loyola and bought flowers for papa boyet.

we love you, papa cesar! i will never tire of hearing your panahon ng hapon and familia tuazon stories. sabi nga ni tito ado, hindi pa tayo umaabot sa panahon ng amerikano hehe

and the highlight of this day (i guess so hehe), was my adobong baboy. while helping ria and tita nenet prepare the chop suey, tita bubut handed me the pork and i rinsed it. when ta bubut said "o, ikaw na bahala kung anong luto gagawin mo dyan ha. gusto mo adobo rin. tikman ko mamaya", i appear to have some sort of mental block out that i have totally forgotten how to cook adobo. nyaaah!! ma, help!! hindi ko alam mag-adobo ng baboy :-) i smiled..kaya ko 'to ahihi..toyo - check! suka - check! paminta - check! bawang - check! asukal..asukal?? kwatog was laughing at me "ha?, walang asukal ang adobo". yay!! i asked myself, "wala nga ba?" i know there is, un ung turo sa kin ni mama. anyway, i did not put sugar and just crossed my fingers and hoping that it will taste like adobo (nyehehe). oh my! it feels like ten years before it cook and it's almost 2pm. i texted my teammate and ask him to run the reports for me as i will not make it at 3pm. after an hour, at last! pwede na!! haha!! sabi ni kwatog paksiw daw, sabi naman ni ella tocino raw! hahaha!!! let's hear from the main judge, dra bubut carino..

tinikman din ni mama and she liked it. kinwento nya agad kay cesar and hubby was so proud of me..ahihi thank you dy! may utang kang isang shellane kila ninang hehe

kahit na late ako sa office, worth it naman :-)
